The Namesake

Here is the 'completed' attempt at Gustav Klimt's Expectation. It's really not like the original at all - probably because the original wasn't done in oil paint (which I didn't clue-in to until too late!). There are a lot of departures from his, but I've got it to a state I can live with. I still don't think it's really finished though, there's something that's still not sitting right. I wanted it to be really peaceful and calming but invigorating like the original, but that just didn't work out.
